What are the signs of being drunk? My cousin is drinking for the first time as she is sweating and we feel sick

Being silly , light headed , ongoing conversations , having more courage than usual . then comes that spinning when you lay on your bed , and the room starts spinning , then you are far too drunk . NEVER drive when you had more than 3 drinks of any kind . States in general are coming down on drunk drivers . the average cost for a drunk driving conviction is about $20,000 . In Colorado the penalty for a DUI ( driving under the influence ) is $10,000 not to mention other cost related to the DUI conviction .In Massachusetts the cost for an open container is $500 . Most States is a mandatory loss a of drivers license for 1 year for a DUI Most employers wont even give you the right time of day of a DUI conviction within the last 5 years or even 7 years . Have a good time , but keep it cool . when in doubt call somebody or cab to take you home .

Even after all these years of drinking, I still couldn't tell you what defines being "drunk" in the colloquial sense. There's definitely a point at which you know for sure you're drunk because you don't seem to walk straight, talk straight, or do much of anything with any coordination. Simply feeling sick or sweating doesn't necessarily mean you're drunk though. Getting sick from just drinking a relatively small amount of alcohol may indicate you lack some alcohol dehydrogenase enzymes.

Dizziness, finding things funnier than usual, being overly emotional, loss of balance, nausea, being irrational. If you're feeling sick, stop drinking, it only gets worse!!

But the general signs is a different kind of face (goofy/stupid/tired face), more talkative, talking differently, red face, slurred speech.
