I have a term paper on that new QEP crap in school. And my topic is, "If I owned a bar establishment, would I allow minors at all?" I just need some ideas or reasons if u got them for me on the pros and cons.

The good part is that families can go in. I go to an establishment that I can listen to music and have some pizza while my mom has a drink or two and plays pool. It will mean that you have more business because you can serve a wider range of clientele.

The cons are that you have to be very vigilant that minors are not drinking. A parent giving a kid a few sips or anything can make you lose your alcohol license.

Depending where you live the law states that you must be 21 to enter any bar. Now if your bar serves food you can let underage kids in only with parents or Adult supervision but they must be out by 9pm. If you have just a bar and serve no food then absolutely do not let under age minors in your establishment because if they get caught drinking you will be heavily fined and if it is more than one occasion then you could loose your liqueur license and you will be out of business.

I believe it is unlawful for a minor to be in a bar unless it serves food and would then be considered a bar and grill. I also believe they have to still have an adult with them. Minors and alcohol don't mix well together. They are not mature enough to know when to quit and not be self-destructive(some adults, too). Let them get their booze the old-fashioned way, by sneaking drinking at parties and crap with their friends.

i'm with Morgan in this one. the folk asserting that they could refuse provider to anybody for any reason are incorrect. maximum human rights codes do no longer enable agencies that are open to the commonplace public to refuse provider on the muse of prohibited grounds of discrimination (race, and so on.). you may could be waiting to make certain that the discrimination replaced into truly on a prohibited floor (and not through fact your sleeves have been in fact too long, or through fact there replaced into hair gel outstanding off of your ear, or through fact the bouncer is boycotting the organization that made your denims, and so on.), which won't be trouble-free. however, i might pay close interest to Morgan's warnings approximately appearing earlier later. keeping your rights alive could require fast action.

Some one buys a drink for a minor. Your staff not look looking as the person buying gives it to the minor. Some one else sees and reports it. May even have pics on their phone. You lose the abilty to sell. Your bankrupt.
