Green apple skin, slate, perfumed, white peach nose. Very fresh, delicate, clean, succulent palate with lime, green apple, slate, perfumed flavours. Crisp, clean finish and extremely consistent. Good value.

Seven Oaks is a nice Cabernet, but try to find a wine that is Cote de Rhone, or from the Rhone valley in France. It used to be considered "workin man's wine" by the French, but then in the mid '90's it was being exported as a cheap wine, but it was a huge hit in North America, and now it is around $15 - $20 a bottle, and it is easily better than many $30-$40 bottles if you get the right one. It takes a bit of experimenting. I started drinking Cote de Rhone in '95 and it was $6.50 a bottle now it it $15 and up. I hope this helps. These are all reds because I am better versed in reds because I like them more.

Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill!!!! It's cheap and easy on the palette. I also agree with Hopflower, "Two Buck Chuck" from Trader Joe's is hands down the winner. Superior quality, incredible price. Sutter Home is my personal favorite for commercial wines, "Boxed" wines are cheap, a good value, and tastey. And, they last forever! However, I disagree and shun anyone who thinks kendal jackson chardonnay is worth more then a dime. I would rather drink mud then consume that garbage.

I had a brilliant bottle final week...A to Z Oregon Pinot Noir 2005. seems to be everywhere, it replaced into $35 on the eating place yet retails for $18-$19. Chianti Classico had a good year in 2005 and that they are existence like too. i've got not had the Crane Lake, do you comprehend the varietal?

Merlo - It won 1st place not too long ago in a taste test of 200 different types of wine. I'm Canadian, and it sells for under 20 bucks a bottle here.

I think the best wine deals for under $20.00 can always be found at Costco!!!!
I think you need to answer more questions: like, red or white? specific varietal?
