Thoughts on Pabst Blue Ribbon?

I am doing some artwork focused around Pabst Blue Ribbon and I want to know what people associate with this beer. Thanks!

first thoughts when i hear pbr are "college beer." i can be pretty picky about beer and i honestly dont think its that bad. in comparison to other cheap beers like natty light.

If you go to Costco get a case of Rogue Dead Man Ale... or if they don't have that then Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is good. These are both good beers with character and higher alcohol content than your standard beer. If you want to get something great that might cost more then Dragon Stout is great. It's like Guinness on steroids and tastes better to boot, If you like something that isn't so dark then Carlsberg Elephant Malt Liquor is the way to go. It's strong and delicious and unique. Since you are a Grizzly Man you probably already know that you can't go wrong with Alaskan Amber.

If I could think of one word that relates to Pabst is: Cheap!

Its a horrible tasting beer that is really only purchased for its price.

If you don't have much cash and you don't want to be sober, that's the way to go.

Awful stuff that appeals to the same crowd as Busch and Natty: rednecks and college students who are just looking to get a cheap buzz.
