I have many favorites, such as a Tom Collins or a Mint Julep. However, one that I think most people are not aware of is the Fireman's Sour.

Juice of two limes

2 oz. Rum (Barbancourt works very well in this drink)

1 Tablespoon Grenadine (I only use Giroux)

1 Teaspoon Sugar

Combine in a shaker and shake with ice. Pour over ice in a collins glass and fill to the top with seltzer. Give it a stir and enjoy!

Gin and tonic. Tonic water is club soda with quinine. It is slightly sweet and slightly bitter. Start with a half glass of cold tonic (+/-lime wedge) and add gin until you can just barely taste the subtle spices of the gin come out. Gin and tonic is easy to make, easy to adjust the alcohol, and it's neither too sweet nor too bitter.

Currently, the White Russian. I like it with 2oz Kahula, 1oz Vodka, and the rest with milk or cream.

I love Oatmeal Cookies. I have no idea how to make them. The extent of knowledge I have on making drinks is Kool-Aid.
