The best way to quit most things is cold turkey. Get it out of the house, stay away from the beer section in the store, don't go to bars or hang out with drinkers. If you really need help, go to AA, go to a hospital or a rehab. They do have drugs for alcoholics, they make you SICK when you drink. But they can make you really, really, really sick. Try praying about it. Try making everything in your life healthy, like workout in the morning, stick to good foods. Think of your body as a temple and you will find it sooo easy to skip the beer. If you want to stop being an alchoholic then you need to start by being truthful to yourself. I guess by asking your question you have acknowledged you have a problem. To get over this you need to WANT to give up drinking. Then you must be truthful with yourself, don't sneak drinks, thinking that if nobody else sees you that it is ok. YOU will see yourself drinking. Drinking a lot of alcohol is very bad for you and think about the damage you are causing to yourself. Go to a doctors and tell them you have a problem and that you want help. Be brave and solve this problem that you have. Good luck!

you cant get rid of it, as they say once an alcoholic always an alcoholic, depending on your habits be carefull or you could end up very sick (i dont mean to be on a soap box) but ive been fighting alcoholic hepatitus for 5 months now good luck to you

Really, go to A.A. It does work if you are willing to work on your problem. Antibuse pills truly help but can cause problems to some. Please take care of yourself. Drinking only hurts you and your family. Your family needs you. My ex did not want help; he said he was a drunk and proud of it. He lost his wife and children because of his drug problem. He has grand children that he probably will not ever see. Is it worth the loss>

people here r not getting one time bread.but ur spending ur money in alcohol.poor people die to make money every day.thnk god u have got money to buy alcohol.

think about others u will stop and believe in god
