Why do people like Vodka if it does not really have a taste?

I am not talking about the flavored ones. Just regular vodka.

That's not true. Vodka does have a taste and if you do a tasting of different kinds of plain vodka, you'll notice it. It all depends on the grains used and how it's distilled.



I personally like vodka because it makes a clean drink when mixed with juices or sodas. I don't like things that are usually very sweet so I oftentimes have a simple vodka tonic which has a clean, refreshing taste.

That's a bit of a myth.

All vodka's have a taste but they don't influence any other flavour.



With vodka it's more about the way it goes down.

Some people like a smooth style while others like the burn down the throat.



Often the burn gets confused with level of alcohol and this doesn't have to be true.



The type of grain used also influences the taste.

Vodka does have a taste, but it mixes very well with juices. That's why I like it anyway.

Vodka does have a flavour which is brought out even more when followed by another. You have to have another because if you don't the first one will get really lonely and I would be have to report you to the Cruelty to Vodka Association.

vodka has a taste, but its mild (unless its cheap vodka) sort of like mineral water or good bottled water



as for people like it, its because its good in cocktails where you want the flavoring of the other juices and mixers and not the flavor of say: tequila or whiskey.

it has a taste. its actually more like a salty/sweet/bitter type taste. it doesnt have an after taste, but when you taste it you can feel it. but yeah the cheap stuff is so bad

They like it so they can ruin their lives and get the courage to tell someone they don't like off,they like it cause it makes them something that they really aren't . they like it cause they can drink a whole bottle and see if they can drive and fool the police. this is the people that drink it too much,some even lose their family and jobs over it. Best to stay away from any booze as it has no benefit's at all to your body . AS you can see I have had a real experience with booze.
