Mojito Recipes

1 serving

1.5 oz. BACARDI rum

12 fresh spearmint leaves

½ lime

2 tbsp. simple syrup (or 4 tsp. sugar)

Top off with club soda

*Muddle mint leaves and lime in tall glass. Cover with simple syrup and fill

glass with ice. Add BACARDI rum and club soda; stir well. Garnish glass with

lime wedge and sprigs of mint.

9 OZ. BACARDI RUM

8 SPRIGS OF FRESH SPEARMINT LEAVES

3 LIMES

½ LITER CLUB SODA

12 OZ. SIMPLE SYRUP (OR ½ CUP SUGAR)

*Muddle mint leaves and lime in large pitcher. Cover with simple syrup and fill

pitcher with ice; Add BACARDI rum and club soda; stir well. Add crushed ice to

tall glasses when ready to serve. Garnish glasses with lime wedge and sprigs of

mint.

Simple Syrup

2 parts sugar

3 parts water

*Fill Bottle with sugar to the halfway mark. Add hot water up to the start of

the bottleneck. Cover the top and shake well.

At this point, the water level will drop. Add a little more water, cover and

shake until clear. Store in a cool, dry place. If this is too unwieldy, consider

I thought I would give you a variation to the normal mojito!



Frozen Mojito Slushes



For every 4 slushes, you will need:

1 pint lime sorbet or 1 can lime ade from frozen juice section

8 shots light rum

1/2 cup mint leaves

1 tray ice cubes



In a blender, combine 1/2 pint sorbet or 1/2 can of lime ade with 4 shots of rum, 1/4 cup mint leaves and 1/2 tray of ice. Pulse, then blend on high until lime-mint slush is smooth. Pour drinks into 2 large cocktail glasses using a long handled spoon and repeat with remaining ingredients.

MOJITO

ingredients:

• Several Mint sprigs

• 1/2 lime

• 1 1/2 oz. light rum

• 1 tsp. sugar

Schweppes ® Club Soda [optional]



Mixing instructions:

Squeeze lime juice into a chilled double Old Fashioned glass, add sugar and mint, and muddle until sugar is dissolved. Fill glass with crushed ice and pour in rum. Swizzle until glass frosts, adding additional crushed ice and rum as needed. Garnish with mint sprig and serve with straws. You may top off drink with cold club soda if you wish, or some prefer a dash of dark Jamaica rum.

Mojito....

It is one shot of light rum

about three ounces of simple syrup

And a few mint sprigs.



I think that's all that's in a mojito...

1 teaspoon powdered sugar

lime juice(2 ounces)

4 mint leaves

white Rum (2 ounces)

2 ounces club soda



serve on the rocks and enjoy!!
