As for the spirits Corvatto is correct, if you mean Bulmers cider, it is completely wheat free, there may be traces of yeast left because it's an essential ingredient of the fermentation process but most is filtered out, any remaining is quite harmless.
You have to check with beers though, here is one that is wheat and gluten free and available in most supermarkets.

Any spirit is pure alcohol, watered down to make it drinkable, just because its first made alcoholic by fermentation of sugars with yeast does not mean that the yeast survives the brewing or distilling process..he will probably be OK drinking things like Carling/Fosters/Carlsberg, in fact any nitrokeg beers since they have all been flash pasteurised, homogenised, triple filtered, then gassed up (thats why they are so flavourless..it`s only "real ale" that still has any yeasts (possibly or more probably !) in them, since they are a live product that needs secondary fermentation in the pub cellar, but even after that, the dead yeast cells very rarely make it into the glass at the bar Wine is OK too..same reason, dead cells are left in the bottom of the casks after "Racking", unless it`s a wine "sur lie" like a nice frsh Muscadet or Vinho verdi which means it`s still on its lees, or yeasts

Corvato is correct about the yeast, but some people are highly sensitive to the ingredents in certain Vodkas.
Ketel One is 100% Wheat
Chopin is 100% Potato
Belvedere is 100% Rye
and Grey goose and Absolute are a Wheat blend.
be careful drinking just any old Vodka, b/c many of them will have a blend in their ingredients to help with cost.

all distilled beverages are yeast free:
Vodka, Brandy, Rum, Whiskey, tequila
many use malted grain/wheat in their mash, but this is completely removed during the distillation process, so even people with allergies to wheat should be safe
if you want to be extra sure, stick with Brandy (grape base), Rum (sugar cane/molassis base), or tequila (agave base)
